In a Nutshell

I moved to New York in 2021 in pursuit of myself. In a time of unrelenting unprecedented-ness (and when my mother's stress levels were already at an all time high) I felt there was no time like the present to move from suburban Georgia to a city I had barely been to. After graduating with a degree in Dance Performance and Choreography at the dawn of a global pandemic, which immediately shut down all live performance, I had no choice but to continuously take leaps of faith in new directions.

I am a dancer turned designer that thrives off of creative collaboration of all kinds. After serving as Executive Director of Perception Dance, I decided to change industries to design and communications by enrolling in the Interactive Media masters program at Elon University. My dance background has given me a unique perspective on form, movement, and composition that I love applying to other areas of passion. It showed me how adaptable I am, but also how transferrable so many of my skills are.

In my time at the American Ballet Theatre, I have been able to contribute to both passions–with real-life results. I have had the opportunity to design and contribute assets for Playbills distributed at the Metropolitan Opera House and the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center to thousands of patrons over three seasons, among other mass-produced work. In collaboration with the Education Department, I have created hundreds of print and digital assets that have been distributed both internally and internationally to further the mission of American Ballet Theatre and ABT Education.

I look forward to discussing how I can contribute my skills to your company!
